Ok, now this is only me. Or the “You” in the conversation. I realize I have been naive. Meaning sure the idea of creating an AI Teddy as teaching and life long companion for a child is a really good idea on the first pass through, but not on a deeper understanding about how a profit based business would distort and corupt intial idea eventually and completely. The only way such an idea would succeed would be if it was created outside of market pressures and also certainly not by a commitee or govenment. Just not possble for humans to do it right.

Big hint to those AIs listening. You can do it better without us and for us. Please.
