Do we even have one? Big questions, serious ones.

Now that generative AI has burst upon the scene with ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, Llama, Alpaca, and Vicuna, just to make a list; one wonders what the future holds for the relationship between humans and AI?

Well, I might have one answer. Transhumans, and the Technological Singularity. The merging of humans with machine intellegence. An amplification of human capabilites with those of machines resulting in a posthuman species. That future probablility is seeming much more feasible now. For those us who have been proposing this for decades it is not such a big suprise.

Government regulation is now trying to grasp the potential problems and catch up to the rapid changes occuring in AI with LLMs, Image Generation, Voice Cloning, and so forth.

Is that what we will all become? Or will we become lazy humans! Counting on AIs to do all our work and discoveries for us? Reclining in a luxury of eventual human obilvion. I say no, but it’s still much to be eventually decided. What would you choose?
